Malan Breton Fall/Winter 2010 Show

At Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week NY, “Project Runway” alum Designer Malan Breton presented his Fall/Winter 2010 Fashion Show at Style 360 on Wednesday afternoon, February 17^th.  Malan’s inspiration for his beautiful men’s and women’s collection was Bombay meets Fritz Lang’s “Metropolis” in a winter fantasy.

The show featured two special guests. American Idol’s popular finalist from last season, Anoop Desai gave a sneak preview performance of his new single, “My Name” which will be released in March. Malan designed his arsenic and noir embroidered black lace shawl lapel tuxedo.  Escorting Malan at the end of the show was Countess LuAnn de Lesepps, star of “Real Housewives of New York City” and author of “Class with the Countess”.

Colors for the season included red, gray mist, saffron, sandstone, blue, golden bronze and noir.

Front row celebrities included “American Idol’s” Constantine Maroulis (currently on Broadway starring in “Rock of Ages”) with Tinsley Mortimer, “Real Housewives of New York” star Alex McCord, Mark Indelicato from “Ugly Betty”, Grammy winning composer Desmond Child, and Ronnie Kroell, from “Make Me A Supermodel”.
